IT Specialist, Steerprop

We are looking for a proactive IT Specialist to ensure smooth and secure operation of our mission-critical systems. As our IT Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining and developing our IT infrastructure, with a focus on hardware, servers, and device management. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and business teams to support daily operations and drive improvements in internal systems and workflows. You’ll also contribute to documentation and development work—writing clear instructions, refining processes, and helping shape the future of our IT environment.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Managing company devices, servers, and hardware inventory
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software issues across departments
  • Creating and maintaining documentation and user guidance
  • Providing user support, onboarding and training
  • Collaborating on development projects (e.g., implementing a new ERP system and system integrations)
  • Collaborating with vendors and external partners when necessary

The skills and experience we value:

  • Excellent collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills

  • A proactive mindset - eager to learn and take ownership

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, Document Management Systems (e.g. M-Files) and reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI)
  • Understanding of server environments and device management
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Finnish and English
  • Technical education (e.g. information technology, bachelor’s/master’s degree or equivalent)
  • Experience or understanding of system integrations is considered an advantage

In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Operational Development & Sustainability, with your office located in Rauma, Finland.
