We at Steerprop believe that we can provide the most energy and cost efficient propulsion solutions for the maritime industry. We are now looking for three sales professionals to join our growing Sales and Sales Engineering teams. We look for team players that are driven by challenges and focused on achieving results, people that excel both when working independently and in collaboration with external and internal stakeholders.

Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager you will

  • create and develop sales opportunities​ in the market

  • identify and contact potential customers​

  • nurture customer relations, both potential and existing customers as well as other stakeholders​

  • be the point of contact towards the customers during different stages​ of the sales process.

We expect you to have

  • a commercial, technical or other suitable education

  • experience in international B2B sales

  • excellent negotiation and collaboration skills

  • a drive and desire to succeed

  • willingness to travel

  • excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

  • experience of the marine industry

Your position can be located at any one of our facilities in either Rauma, Jyväskylä or Vantaa, Finland. Remote working possibilities can also be discussed.

Sales Engineering Manager

As a Sales Engineering Manager you will

  • lead and manage a team of experts giving direct support to the sales organization​ through eg. offer calculations

  • continuously improve Steerprop products, sales methods and the competitiveness in the market​

  • develop new methods to analyze propulsion system’s efficiency and total cost of ownership and demonstrate this to the clients

  • provide market intelligence​

  • support in sales material development​

  • be a link between the sales organization and engineering & product development.

We expect you to have

  • a commercial, technical or other suitable education

  • excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

  • good problem-solving skills

  • a co-operative attitude and a drive and desire to succeed

  • experience of the marine industry

  • knowledge and experience of Salesforce is seen as an advantage.

This position is located at our facilities in Rauma, Finland. Remote working possibilities can also be discussed.

Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer you will

  • provide back-office support to Sales Managers & Agents​

  • optimise project specific Steerprop solutions

  • prepare commercial offers and technical specifications​

  • develop the customer value analysis tools and other project specific analysis

  • develop sales material in co-operation with other parts of the Steerprop organization.

We expect you to have

  • a commercial, technical or other suitable education

  • good problem-solving skills

  • a co-operative attitude and a drive and desire to succeed

  • an understanding of ship propulsion systems is seen as a benefit.

Your position can be located at our facilities in either Rauma or Vantaa, Finland. Remote working possibilities can also be discussed.
