Service Coordinator with Resolve to Perform

Are you skilled in coordinating tasks, managing resources, and ensuring smooth, efficient service delivery? Do you excel at multitasking, problem-solving, and providing exceptional support to both clients and team members?

We are looking for an organized and proactive Service Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will coordinate service schedules, provide support, and facilitate field service activities, ensuring the timely delivery of support to enhance the reliability and efficiency of Steerprop's fit-for-purpose propulsion systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Service Manager to coordinate global field service operations, including overhauls, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Providing support and facilitating field service activities such as managing spare parts, overseeing cost and time schedules, and handling associated reporting and administrative duties.
  • Fostering strong collaboration with key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
  • Tracking field service profit margins and preparing post-completion documentation for work orders to enable prompt invoicing.
  • Organizing and managing service engineers during assignments, including handling travel arrangements, visa applications, passport processing, and coordinating with our travel agency.
  • Maintaining clear communication and following up with field personnel to ensure smooth execution of services.
  • Collaborating with technical support teams to address and resolve customer inquiries and service requests.

We expect you to have:

  • Basic education in engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or Economics; relevant experience can substitute for formal education.
  • A strong interest in technical and maritime sectors is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
  • A proactive and organized work style, combined with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
