Open position of Hydraulics Designer

We’re seeking a Hydraulics Designer with resolve to perform.

Come join a growing group of likeminded professionals in resolving lubrication and steering hydraulics system challenges of azimuth propulsion in extreme, even arctic conditions. In addition to designing and documentation, you’ll play an active role in factory testing hydraulic systems to ensure they perform to our high standards.

You’ll contribute to our customers’ success through participating in product development of new propulsion solutions and design processes – ensuring the performance and reliability of the methods and hydraulics maintenance.  You’ll support our project, sales and maintenance teams, including test runs, when needed.

We assume you have a basic or advanced degree in engineering and have worked at least 3-5 years within hydraulics design. Hands-on experience in specific design of hydraulic systems for transportation vehicles or vessels is a bonus.

We expect you are already familiar with comprehensive design of hydraulic systems and common design tools, component choices as well as structural and dimensional calculations.

Your job will consist of close collaborative teamwork with your colleagues from different departments, which requires fluent spoken and written English skills and a willingness to travel.
